Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Aldi. As the Assistant Store Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing day-to-day store activities, ensuring optimal store performance, creating operational plans, and fostering team development.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and executing action plans to enhance store operations.
- Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to team members.
- Identify training opportunities to improve team performance.
- Monitor the competitive landscape and suggest necessary adjustments to maintain competitiveness.
- Participate in the selection process of store personnel.
- Ensure adherence to inventory procedures, product handling guidelines, and cash control policies.
- Maintain cleanliness, stock levels, product presentation, and store signage.
- Supervise daily operations, escalate issues when needed, and ensure exceptional customer service.
- Comply with company policies and uphold confidentiality of data.
Job Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Develop rapport and open communication to enhance team performance.
- Apply company policies and procedures effectively.
- Operate a cash register efficiently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive retail experience.
- Prior management experience preferred.
