Join our team at Aldi as a Full-Time Assistant Store Manager. In this role, you will assist with supervising day-to-day store activities, managing schedules, and developing operational plans to ensure overall store performance. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will identify training opportunities to enhance team growth and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement action plans to improve store operating results.
  • Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports.
  • Identify and provide training and development opportunities for team members.
  • Monitor the competitive environment and recommend adjustments to maintain competitiveness.
  • Participate in the interviewing process for store personnel.
  • Ensure inventory procedures and cash control policies are followed to minimize losses.
  • Maintain store cleanliness and proper stock levels.
  • Maximize sales through neat product merchandising.
  • Supervise team operations and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Uphold company policies and procedures while ensuring customer service excellence.

Job Qualifications

  • 18 years or older to be employed at Aldi.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
  • Prior retail management experience is preferred.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of retail experience.
  • Prior management experience is preferred.
