Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring the store's success through merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized environment. By collaborating with the ALDI team, you will contribute to providing exceptional customer service and enhancing the shopping experience for our valued customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures.
- Follow established company policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Physical Demands
- Stock and arrange merchandise weighing up to 45 pounds.
- Engage in various physical activities such as sitting, standing, bending, reaching, lifting, and walking.
Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years old.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of cash register and store equipment.
- Capability to perform general cleaning tasks according to company standards.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or within a team.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities.
- Compliance with state and local regulations regarding alcohol sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous retail experience is advantageous.
- Any combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
