Full-Time Store Associate

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in creating an exceptional shopping experience for our customers by carrying out a variety of in-store tasks including merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment. Your collaboration with the ALDI team and focus on providing exceptional customer service will be vital in ensuring our store's success.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and assist customers with their shopping needs.
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and any operational issues.
• Conduct store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Follow cash policies and procedures to minimize discrepancies.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures while maintaining confidentiality and security.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register.
• Safe and proper use of store equipment.
• Ability to maintain cleanliness according to company standards.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team setting.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask in a professional and efficient manner.
• Compliance with state and local regulations for handling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail experience is a plus.
• Combination of education and experience equivalent to the required knowledge.
