Job Description
As a Full Time Store Associate at Aldi, you will play a vital role in ensuring the store's operations run smoothly. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. By providing exceptional customer service and collaborating with the ALDI team, you will enhance the overall shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize product displays.
- Assist customers, communicate effectively with team members and management.
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and other store operations.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize discrepancies.
Physical Demands
- Ability to lift and stock merchandise, perform physical tasks like bending, reaching, and lifting up to 45 pounds.
- Operate equipment such as a cash register, floor scrubber, and other tools safely.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Prompt and courteous customer service skills.
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
