Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our ALDI team. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, merchandising products, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. This position offers a starting wage of $17.50 per hour for an average of 32-40 hours per week. Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Assist customers with their shopping experience and provide exceptional service
- Stock shelves, process customer purchases, and maintain merchandise displays
- Communicate effectively with team members and management
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
- Follow cash policies and uphold company procedures
- Perform general cleaning duties and ensure store cleanliness
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to provide courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of a cash register
- Safe operation of equipment and ability to perform cleaning tasks
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- High attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales handling
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
