Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join Aldi, where you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience. As part of the ALDI team, you will be responsible for merchandising, cashiering, stocking shelves, and upholding store cleanliness to deliver top-notch service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases and maintain a clean shopping environment
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers with their needs
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly with management
- Help monitor inventory accuracy and participate in store inventory counts
- Adhere to cash handling policies to ensure minimal losses
- Follow company policies, procedures, and maintain document security
- Perform additional tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement of 18 years
- Proficiency in providing prompt and courteous customer service
- Ability to operate a cash register accurately
- Proficient in using store equipment and performing cleaning tasks
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork capabilities
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
- Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Prior retail experience (preferred)
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
