Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play an essential role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to ensure a top-notch shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays neatly.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Give feedback on products, inventory, and other issues to management.
- Participate in inventory counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash policies and minimize losses.
- Follow company policies and uphold document security and confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old to work at Aldi.
- Efficient cash register operation and excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to operate equipment and perform cleaning duties to company standards.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multi-task.
- Compliance with state and local requirements for alcohol handling and sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail work experience is a plus.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
