Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store maintains a welcoming environment for our customers through merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining cleanliness.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
- Participate in store inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy
- Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Operate a cash register efficiently and accurately
- Safely operate equipment and perform cleaning duties
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail work experience preferred
