Job Description
We are hiring a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of in-store tasks including merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills as outlined for the role.
- Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
- Work collaboratively with team members and effectively communicate with store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to the management team.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies and procedures.
- Follow company policies and procedures while maintaining document security and confidentiality.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficiently operate a cash register and various store equipment.
- Perform general cleaning tasks according to company standards.
- Interpret and apply company policies and procedures effectively.
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Work both independently and as part of a team.
- Stay organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking.
- Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous retail work experience is a plus.
- A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
