Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, restocking, cashiering, and maintaining the overall cleanliness and appearance of the store to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Process customer purchases and maintain a clean shopping environment.
- Stock shelves with merchandise and ensure proper product displays.
- Deliver excellent customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management.
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and any operational issues.
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies to prevent losses.
- Follow company policies with a focus on security and confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of cash register and store equipment.
- Capability to perform general cleaning duties up to company standards.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
- Attention to detail, organization, and multitasking skills.
- Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior experience in a retail setting is advantageous.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.
