Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer shopping experience through merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. Collaborate with the ALDI team to provide exceptional customer service and contribute to the overall success of the store.
Position Details
- Type: Full-Time (32-40 hours per week)
- Starting Wage: $16.50 per hour
Duties and Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their shopping experience
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
- Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash policies and procedures
- Follow company policies and procedures while ensuring security and confidentiality
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Operate a cash register efficiently and accurately
- Safely operate equipment and perform general cleaning duties
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
