Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring that our store maintains a clean and organized environment while providing exceptional customer service. This position offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with the Aldi team and enhance the shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers with their shopping needs
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
- Conduct store inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy
- Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses
- Comply with company policies and procedures while ensuring document security and confidentiality
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment
- General cleaning duties to company standards
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or within a team
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multi-task
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior work experience in a retail environment preferred
- Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
