Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join the ALDI team. As a Store Associate, your primary responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to enhance the customer shopping experience. You will collaborate with the team and provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $19.00 per hour
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide excellent customer service and assist customers in their shopping experience
- Communicate effectively with team members and management
- Participate in inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy
- Ensure compliance with cash policies, company procedures, and security measures
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment
- Knowledge of company policies and procedures
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
- Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior work experience in retail is an advantage
- Combination of education and experience is acceptable
