Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our ALDI team. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in enhancing the customer shopping experience by merchandising and stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. You will work collaboratively with team members to provide exceptional customer service and contribute to achieving store targets and goals.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills.
- Process customer purchases, stock merchandise, and maintain neat displays.
- Provide excellent customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any operational issues.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures.
- Comply with company policies while ensuring security and confidentiality.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Prior retail experience preferred.
- Ability to provide courteous customer service and operate a cash register.
- Proficient in operating store equipment and performing cleaning tasks.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities.
- Meet all state and local requirements for handling alcohol.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Combination of education and experience equivalent to the job requirements.
