Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store. By providing exceptional customer service and working collaboratively with the ALDI team, you will ensure an outstanding shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases and maintain neat displays
- Assist customers and enhance their shopping experience
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and other store issues
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
- Comply with established policies, uphold security, and confidentiality standards
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Excellent customer service and cash register skills
- Ability to operate store equipment and perform cleaning duties
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
- Attention to detail, organization, and ability to multitask efficiently
- Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Prior retail experience preferred
Combination of education and experience considered
