Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our store maintains a welcoming and organized environment for our customers. From cashiering to stocking shelves, your responsibilities will be essential in providing exceptional customer service and contributing to a positive shopping experience.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills required for the role.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and arrange merchandise displays effectively.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, assisting shoppers throughout their visit.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate efficiently with store management.
- Provide feedback on products, inventory issues, and any concerns to the management team.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Follow cash policies to minimize discrepancies and adhere to established procedures.
- Comply with company policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality.
Physical Demands
Stock merchandise, lift and carry up to 45 pounds, and perform various physical tasks in the store. Ability to work independently or with accommodation.
Qualifications
- Minimum age of 18 to work at ALDI.
- Proficient in customer service and cash register operations.
- Capable of operating store equipment safely and effectively.
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies with excellent communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the capacity to work individually or in a team environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is desirable.
