Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join the ALDI team. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to provide exceptional customer service and enhance the shopping experience.
Position Type
Full-Time (32-40 hours per week)
Starting Wage
$17.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves neatly, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers during their shopping.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Participate in inventory counts and report any product issues or losses.
- Adhere to cash handling policies, company procedures, and maintain document confidentiality.
- Perform general cleaning duties and follow safety guidelines.
- Complete other assigned tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Efficiently operate a cash register and various store equipment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Prior retail experience is preferred.
