Job Description
We are hiring a Full-Time Store Associate to join the dynamic team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store is well-organized, providing exceptional customer service, and contributing to a positive shopping experience for customers. The position involves merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining cleanliness within the store.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills outlined for the role.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide superior customer service, assisting customers during their shopping experience.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues to management.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accurate monitoring of inventory.
- Adhere to cash handling policies and procedures to minimize losses.
- Comply with company policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Proficient in providing prompt and courteous customer service.
- Skilled in operating a cash register efficiently and accurately.
- Capable of safely operating equipment and performing cleaning tasks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Demonstrate organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
- Meet requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is advantageous.
