Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining cleanliness to provide an excellent shopping experience for our customers. You will collaborate with the ALDI team to uphold the company's standards and deliver exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases and maintain a clean store appearance
- Assist customers and communicate effectively with the team
- Provide feedback to management on products and inventory
- Participate in store inventory counts and uphold cash policies
- Adhere to company procedures and policies
- Perform other assigned duties as needed
Requirements
- 18 years of age or older
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- Efficient operation of a cash register and equipment
- Interpret and apply company policies accurately
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task
- Meet requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
