Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store is well-organized, clean, and provides exceptional customer service. You will work collaboratively with the ALDI team to create a positive shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management
- Monitor inventory accuracy and participate in store inventory counts
- Adhere to cash policies and procedures
- Follow company policies while ensuring security and confidentiality
- Perform general cleaning duties to maintain store standards
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient cash register operation
- Safe handling of equipment and ability to perform cleaning tasks
- Excellent communication skills
- Capacity to work independently and within a team
- Organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task professionally
- Meet state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail work experience is advantageous
