Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our store by merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and ensuring a clean and organized environment. Collaborate with the ALDI team to deliver exceptional customer service and enhance the overall shopping experience for our valued customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide excellent customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
- Participate in store inventory counts and maintain inventory accuracy
- Adhere to cash policies to minimize losses and uphold company procedures
- Perform general cleaning duties and maintain store cleanliness
- Handle physical demands including stocking merchandise and moving items up to 45 pounds
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient cash register operation and equipment handling
- Interpret and apply company policies and procedures accurately
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively
- Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages
- Prior work experience in retail environment preferred
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in a retail setting is advantageous
