Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store is well-organized, customers receive exceptional service, and products are stocked and displayed neatly. Your responsibilities will include cashiering, stocking shelves, cleaning, and collaborating with team members.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize product displays.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and assist shoppers effectively.
- Communicate clearly with team members and store management.
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to the management team.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
- Follow cash handling policies and uphold company procedures.
- Adhere to company policies while maintaining confidentiality and security.
- Perform any other assigned duties.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Proficient in providing prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment.
- Capable of performing cleaning tasks to company standards.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively.
- Meet all state and local requirements for alcohol sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
- A combination of education and experience will be considered.
