Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to ensure an excellent shopping experience for our customers. You will collaborate with the ALDI team to provide exceptional customer service and contribute to the overall success of the store.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills while performing daily tasks.
- Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays effectively.
- Deliver top-notch customer service by assisting shoppers and addressing inquiries.
- Communicate openly with team members and store management.
- Assist in inventory management and ensure accuracy during stock counts.
- Follow cash handling policies and maintain security protocols.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures to safeguard data and documents.
- Complete any additional tasks delegated by the management.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older to apply.
- Proficiency in operating cash registers and store equipment.
- Ability to provide efficient and courteous customer service.
- Capable of meeting physical demands such as lifting up to 45 pounds and standing for extended periods.
- Strong communication skills and a detail-oriented approach to tasks.
- Flexible to work independently and within a team environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a bonus.
