Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and ensuring the store maintains a clean and welcoming environment for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and assist shoppers with a positive attitude.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly with store management.
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues to management.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Follow cash handling policies to minimize discrepancies.
- Adhere to company policies, maintain confidentiality, and uphold security protocols.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Possess excellent customer service skills.
- Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment.
- Capable of maintaining store cleanliness and organization.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Aptitude for working independently and in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask.
- Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales, if applicable.
Educational Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is advantageous.
- Combination of education and experience relevant to the role.
