Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer shopping experience by merchandising products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. You will collaborate with our team to deliver exceptional customer service and contribute to the overall success of the store.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide top-notch customer service and assist shoppers
- Communicate effectively with team members and management
- Give feedback on products, inventory, and any issues
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
- Handle cash transactions efficiently and follow company procedures
- Adhere to company policies and maintain document security
- Other assigned duties
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Proficient in customer service and cash register operation
- Ability to operate equipment and perform cleaning tasks
- Strong communication skills
- Capable of working independently and in a team
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
- Meet alcohol handling requirements as needed
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Prior retail experience preferred
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
