Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store is well-organized, stocked, and providing exceptional customer service. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store to enhance the overall customer shopping experience.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves neatly, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers in their shopping experience
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
- Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses
- Comply with company policies and procedures while maintaining document security and confidentiality
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of a cash register
- Safely handle equipment and perform general cleaning duties
- Interpret and apply company policies and procedures
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
- Meet state and local requirements for alcohol handling and sales
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience preferred
