Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a critical role in merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Your dedication to exceptional customer service and teamwork will contribute to an outstanding shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) in daily tasks.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide top-notch customer service and assist shoppers during their store visit.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate feedback to management.
- Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash handling procedures.
- Follow company policies and procedures while ensuring data security and confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Minimum age of 18 to work at Aldi.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
- Capable of performing general cleaning duties to company standards.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or within a team.
- Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
- Combination of education and experience equivalent to retail knowledge.
