Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our store maintains a high standard of customer service and product presentation. You will be responsible for cashiering, merchandising, stocking shelves, and collaborating with team members to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and other store-related issues.
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Follow cash policies and procedures to mitigate losses.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and security protocols.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years old or above.
- Prompt and courteous customer service skills.
- Efficient operation of cash register.
- Safe operation of equipment such as hand jacks and floor scrubbers.
- Ability to maintain cleanliness to company standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Capability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrate organization, attention to detail, and multitasking skills.
- Meet local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent desired.
- Previous retail experience preferred.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable.
