Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in enhancing the customer shopping experience by merchandising and stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness. Working collaboratively with the ALDI team, you will provide exceptional customer service and contribute to a positive and efficient store environment.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers during their visit
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
- Report product feedback, inventory issues, and any other relevant store matters
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure accuracy
- Adhere to cash handling policies and minimize losses
- Follow company procedures while maintaining document security and confidentiality
- Perform other assigned duties as needed
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Efficient cashier and customer service skills
- Operational knowledge of store equipment
- Ability to meet company standards for cleaning and organization
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking
- Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous retail experience is a plus
- Equivalent combination of education and experience considered
