Job Description
Join our team at ALDI as a Full-Time Store Associate! In this role, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's appearance to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
- Communicate effectively with team members and management
- Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
- Follow cash handling procedures and company policies
- Perform general cleaning duties to maintain store standards
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- Efficient operation of cash register and store equipment
- Adherence to company policies and procedures
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Prior retail experience preferred
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous work experience in a retail setting
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
