Job Description
We are hiring a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for various in-store tasks, including merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. By providing exceptional customer service and collaborating with team members, you will contribute to enhancing the overall shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness in the store, and neatly stock shelves.
- Assist customers during their shopping experience and communicate effectively with the team and management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any operational issues.
- Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash policies to ensure store security.
- Follow company policies and procedures while upholding document security and confidentiality.
Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older.
- Proficient in providing prompt and courteous customer service.
- Skilled in operating a cash register accurately and efficiently.
- Ability to handle equipment such as hand jacks, floor scrubbers, and balers.
- Capable of interpreting and applying company policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and in a team setting.
- High attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask.
- Meet state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma preferred.
- Prior retail work experience is beneficial.
