Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our dynamic team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills as outlined for the role.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash policies to minimize losses and uphold company procedures.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment.
- Perform general cleaning duties according to company standards.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or within a team.
- Stay organized, detail-oriented, and follow instructions efficiently.
- Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail work experience is a plus.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
