Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in enhancing the customer shopping experience by providing exceptional service, merchandising products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and keep merchandise displays organized.
- Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management.
- Contribute feedback on products and inventory management.
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
- Adhere to cash policies and company procedures.
- Comply with all company policies and maintain confidentiality.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register.
- Safe and proper handling of equipment.
- Ability to maintain store cleanliness to company standards.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Capability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Attention to detail, ability to multitask, and follow instructions.
- Meet requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages as per state and local regulations.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
- Combination of education and experience will be considered.
