Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive shopping experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) required for the role.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Participate in inventory management following guidelines and ensuring accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses and comply with company procedures.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to operate a cash register efficiently and follow company policies.
- Capable of carrying out general cleaning duties to maintain store standards.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior work experience in a retail environment is a plus.
- Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
