Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store to provide customers with an exceptional shopping experience.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI M.A.P. behaviors regularly
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and ensure neat merchandise displays
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with management
- Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
- Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash handling policies
- Comply with company policies, uphold document security, and confidentiality
- Perform other assigned duties as needed
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient cash register operation skills
- Safe equipment handling abilities
- Capable of meeting retail cleaning standards
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Organized, detail-oriented, and multitasking capabilities
- Fulfill state and local requirements for alcohol sales
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
