Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. Your role will be crucial in enhancing the overall customer shopping experience by providing exceptional service and working collaboratively with the ALDI team.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) required for the role.
- Process customer purchases, maintain clean store displays, and provide top-notch customer service.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly with store management.
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues to management.
- Participate in store inventory counts and uphold cash policies and procedures.
- Adhere to company policies, ensuring security and confidentiality of data.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficiently operate cash registers and store equipment.
- Perform general cleaning duties to company standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Work well independently and in a team environment.
- Stay organized, detail-oriented, and manage tasks efficiently.
- Meet state and local requirements for alcoholic beverage handling and sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
- Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
