Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to ensure an excellent shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and potential issues
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
- Follow cash handling policies to minimize losses
- Adhere to company policies and maintain document security and confidentiality
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of cash register and store equipment
- Conduct general cleaning duties according to standards
- Interpret and apply company policies effectively
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Stay organized, detail-oriented, and multi-task effectively
- Meet alcohol handling requirements as per state and local regulations
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is desirable
- Combination of education and experience is acceptable
