Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the store's operations and enhancing the customer shopping experience. Your responsibilities will include merchandising products, cashiering, cleaning, and providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to support continuous improvement
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
- Adhere to cash policies, procedures, and company standards
- Follow established policies to uphold security and confidentiality
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Prompt and courteous customer service skills
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment
- Ability to maintain cleanliness according to company standards
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Capacity to work independently and in a team environment
- Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Prior retail work experience (preferred)
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
