Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the store's appearance, assisting customers, and supporting the overall operation. Your responsibilities will include stocking shelves, cashiering, and providing exceptional customer service to enhance the shopping experience.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) required for the role.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Assist customers in their shopping experience, ensuring satisfaction.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with management.
- Provide feedback to improve product quality and customer service.
- Participate in inventory counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
Physical Demands
- Stock merchandise and lift up to 45 pounds, stand, bend, reach, push, and pull items.
- Operate store equipment and perform cleaning duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to deliver excellent customer service and operate a cash register.
- Proficient in equipment operation and maintaining store standards.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and multitasking abilities.
- Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous retail experience is a plus.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
