Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate essential competencies and professional skills as outlined for the role.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain displays neatly.
- Provide outstanding customer service by assisting shoppers.
- Work collaboratively with team members and communicate effectively with management.
- Participate in inventory counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize discrepancies.
- Comply with company policies and uphold document security and confidentiality.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of cash register and store equipment.
- Capability to follow company policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask efficiently.
- Meet state and local requirements for handling alcohol sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience preferred.
- Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
