Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. In this role, you will be responsible for various tasks including merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
- Conduct inventory counts and ensure accuracy
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
- Follow company policies while maintaining security and confidentiality
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to operate a cash register and store equipment
- Work effectively independently and in a team environment
- Detail-oriented with the ability to follow instructions
- Prior retail experience is preferred
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Prior work experience in a retail environment is a plus
