Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring our store operates efficiently and delivers exceptional customer service. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store to provide an enjoyable shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers during their retail experience
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
- Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize discrepancies
- Follow company policies, maintain security, and uphold confidentiality standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years old
- Proficient in providing courteous customer service
- Skilled in operating a cash register and store equipment
- Capable of meeting company cleaning standards and procedures
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting
- Detail-oriented, organized, and efficient
- Compliance with state and local regulations for selling alcoholic beverages
