Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store to deliver an exceptional shopping experience to our customers. You will collaborate with the ALDI team, demonstrate key competencies, and provide excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Process customer purchases and maintain a clean store environment.
- Stock shelves and merchandise displays neatly.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers in their shopping experience.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Proficient in operating cash registers and store equipment.
- Capable of performing general cleaning duties.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior work experience in retail is a plus.
- Experience and knowledge equivalent to a combination of education and work experience.
