Job Description
Join ALDI as a Full-Time Store Associate and play a key role in creating an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness. Collaborate with the ALDI team to deliver top-notch customer service.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support customers during their shopping experience.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures.
- Follow company policies, maintain document security, and uphold confidentiality.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficiently operate a cash register.
- Safely operate equipment such as manual jack, floor scrubber, and baler.
- Maintain cleanliness standards.
- Interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Work independently and in a team environment.
- Demonstrate organization, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities.
- Meet alcohol handling requirements.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience desired.
