Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. You will collaborate closely with the ALDI team, demonstrating our core values and delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI M.A.P. (Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills).
- Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service and support customers throughout their shopping experience.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any operational issues.
- Participate in inventory management and conduct regular store counts.
- Handle cash transactions following company policies and procedures.
- Adhere to company policies, ensuring document security and confidentiality.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to provide courteous customer service and operate a cash register.
- Proficient in operating store equipment and maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask efficiently.
- Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales (if applicable).
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
