Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the store to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. You will collaborate with the ALDI team, uphold company standards, and provide top-notch customer service.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and neatly stock shelves.
- Provide excellent customer service and assist customers during their shopping journey.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and potential issues.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies, company procedures, and security guidelines.
- Perform other assigned duties as required.
Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register.
- Safe handling of equipment and ability to perform cleaning tasks.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask effectively.
- Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol handling and sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Prior experience in a retail environment (preferred).
- A combination of education and experience equivalent to the requirements.
