Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to provide customers with an exceptional shopping experience. Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Participate in inventory counts and uphold cash handling policies.
- Adhere to company policies while ensuring document security and confidentiality.
- Perform other assigned duties as necessary.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
- Capability to handle and sell alcoholic beverages per state and local regulations.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Organizational abilities, attention to detail, and multitasking skills.
- Capability to work independently and in a team environment.
