Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join the ALDI team. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for various tasks including merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and neatly display merchandise.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management.
- Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and store operations.
Qualifications
- Age requirement: 18 years or older.
- Operate a cash register efficiently and safely handle equipment.
- Ability to follow company policies, communicate well, and work both independently and in a team.
- Stay organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking.
- Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales (if applicable).
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is an advantage.
