Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join ALDI, a leading retail company. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring that our store maintains excellent standards in merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and customer service. Your collaborative work with the ALDI team will contribute to enhancing the shopping experience for our valued customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping journey.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any operational issues.
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses.
- Follow company policies and procedures to uphold security and confidentiality standards.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Operate a cash register accurately and efficiently.
- Safely operate equipment such as hand jacks and floor scrubbers.
- Interpret and apply company policies effectively.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Prioritize attention to detail, follow instructions, and multitask professionally.
- Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
- Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
